SUPPORTING, CURATING AND IMMERSED BY THE DAILYCROSS-ROADS
Day & Night - Featuring bars by Huey T Knew Sumn. ‘If it’s your first time experiencing his music, take a seat..’
HueyT: “I’m well aware my music can be a lot and quite daunting at times. I think it’s between now and my self discovery as such.. I catch up with myself, gathered in fragments - ‘pieces of a man’ type shit… I already have so much material buried in salt it was a journey in itself. I wanted to show that I’m not whole/Holy, while still showing you I’m that niqqa - (whatever that means to me). All I know is I had to burn it down into two chambers and embody the two halves like Day & Night - I chose a Cowboy and a Priest as my two fictional vessels
- Huey T
NOMAD: “Why not just HueyT ?”
HueyT: It’s an essence to the soul behind the mask - sometimes you need to embody something to keep yourself grounded ya know..
With the 1st track ending with a biblical (Old Testament) sample - from which I’m told is in the book of Genesis. We are guided into the midpoint of the project to an explosive transition into an eerie key’s-like🎹 sounding production by the phenomenal @prodbyjobe as we open up ‘Septuagint’ with a strong and almost magic like feel to the track - we really see the completion of this project, as the two chambered single brings it all together with polarising perspectives “beholding” Huey and Jobe’s ‘Day & Night’ from both ends of their world.

‘Flo (Torq)’ otherwise known as ‘MK’ Street Poetry is a pysch-blues inspired Hip Hop artist, hailing from a city of pyramids and gridlines, only it’s in the UK.
For someone who plays guitar and raps, often simultaneously, putting a band togther around the music had it’s ups and downs - from the 9 piece Foxes Burroughs(A band in their own right in 2016) to Flower Children an amalgamation across several timezones, it seems like nothing has really stuck except the unexpected road that Flo has travelled to get here. Find their latest mix of tracks on our soundcloud - an exclusive batch ahead of any official distributed albums(although containing some of the first and most raw elemenets recorded by abstract means(We’re talking bucket drums, riding around in a car that served as a crash-pad while mixing the DEMO versions of tracks that seem unbound to any particular moment.
Beginning in 2012 as free spiralling raps that found form in the work of artists local to Milton Keynes. The project has since evolved to include collaborations with artists across timezones and genre.
An archive of moments. collected for sometime; oftentimes improvised, the script of MK Street Poetry revolves around being at odds; either with ourselves; or this world; and still finding a way to keep moving.
Travelling to meet you on your path. This exclusive, 'Pay Nothing Until April' is a temporary arrangement of demos, earlier writing & documentary materials by MK Street Poetry.
Welcome to The Queen In The South - Trap Musical LIVE:
A veteran to the Collective and one to watch, found throwing down another fresh collaboration every season; Quinn’T is a name that goes a long way to reassuring you of the down to earth approach and brevity this artist always delivers in their self-made iconography and songwriting.
Clip from ‘On The Road’ - documentary following the artist’s journey.
Expect live appearances by Quinn’T to take you by surprise, fearlessly jamming with everyone on the London new Jazz scene, appearing at festivals Love Supreme & We Out Here in 2024 and in the same year; stringing together a 7 piece live band to play through a riotous electronic sample based Hip Hop set.
Landing at 91 Living Room on Brick Lane, after a series of London, Bristol and Birmingham sessions, Quinn played a set that resembled something out of an action flick, boasting powerful ballads and retelling of lived experiences that were every bit as relatable and awe-inspired.
It is emlematic that this gig was arranged off the cuff - with only time for a handful of rehearsals with musicians stepping in from jam communities around the city - the impact of the music speaking louder than words.
